Johnstonebridge Community Centre and Development Trust

Supporting local communities is a priority for Nairn Construction.

When the opportunity to support Johnstonebridge Community Centre, arose we worked with them to fit within a complex funding programme and staged timescale. The project was to install a storage shed and overflow carpark including access to the public highway.

During the project Nairn Construction were approached by another local group to install a confined dog exercise area near to the Centre which was tied into the pathway structure for use by the local community.

Lord David Johnstone said “We have undertaken two projects in the last three years, the construction of an overflow car park and linking it into the hall, and the building of a wind and watertight storage shed for all equipment within the hall. Both these were done with Nairn Construction, and they have been very good to work with. Both projects were completed on time and within budget, with the work well done. We also find that the communications with them was very clear and easy to understand and would have no hesitation in recommending them”
